The 4th of July

Our first 4th of July in our new neighborhood was very fun. Lots of neighbors, fireworks, food and laughter. The neighbors up and down the street put on a great fireworks show while we watched a large fireworks display in the sky. The kids loved it.

Greta and her friend. It was pretty loud!
The kiddies took seats to watch the "kids fireworks" lots of worms (or poop, they are all in potty humor phase) tanks, sparklers and pop its.

Fieldin managed to stay up for the whole display. We also had taken down all the safety gates in the house recently so he was celebrating Independence day in a whole different context... the freedom to roam. He loved the fireworks and as long as he was nuzzled close to daddy for the big night display, he was as happy as could be.
