Neglected Blog

Wow, time has flew. We all were sick and the bug didn't want to leave.
Greta has been busy with drum lessons, her friends, school and a science program at OSU she is has been going to once a week. Add in babysitting and she is a busy girl. Fieldin has been playing and being creative Fieldin as usual. His newest venture is a floating army base with tank and helicopter etc that he has set up in his bathtub. The good news is he gets in the bath twice a day to play so he is very clean for a 8 year old boy. The bad news is his poor 11 year old sister complains she can't take a shower due to the army madness. That little guy keeps us on our toes. He is very much into reading Harry Potter right now which his sister also adored. I'm afraid I will be finding sticks or as he calls them, wands all over the house. All I know is he needs to learn a few cleaning spells with his wands.

I'm still loving teaching preschool and always changing up the classroom and keeping things fun. Last month with Jeff's help I set up a NASA control station in the class. The kids quickly told me two things... 1) My WIFI must be down since the "computers" were not working (and they attempted to fix them) and 2) My jet pack doesn't work. I need a new jetpack and not one made out of Juice bottles... so much for creative play :)
We are still getting used to our newest family member. Here she is walking away from me. She wants NO documentation of her in that hideous cat sweater.
These two are quite a duo. He is the only one that has the energy to keep up with the crazy kitten.
All these cold winter days, she has figured out where to find the sunny spots.
With three and a half cooks in the house, the kitchen is always bustling. This time of year we get bored and experiment on recipes. Today was paleo breakfast bread. No added sugar or "bad stuff" but lots of protein to start the day.
Trying to catch raindrops atop her scratching post, or an attempt to escape..... we still aren't sure. If my windows survive all the daily claw marks I will be thrilled.
