A Party For The Youngest

Wow, six years do fly by.
Today we celebrated Fieldin's birthday a day early with some of his friends after school.
He was very excited about this party.
As usual, I like to make the decorations and invites for the kids. Jeff made an awesome R2D2 spoon holder out of legos.
 Fieldin loves clone troopers.

He wanted a Star Wars sundae party
We had fun making darth vader, clone trooper and R2D2 chocolates. And I will take advantage of any reason to draw Star Wars characters.
And back by popular demand, the return of the pool noodle light sabers. The ones from last year are still being used.
whacking storm trooper balloons with their light sabers.
and a couple games of don't drop the clone trooper (He loved this)
 our happy little Jedi..
we had a lego clone trooper holding his candle and it worked. He was very excited to make his wish.
making his wish.. which we all knew was for a certain lego set he talks about daily...

He did a good job reading his cards out loud to everyone.
and enjoyed ripping the paper even more..
his friends had fun burying him with wrapping paper
and giving him lots of hugs ...(which he secretly loved)
 and flowers..
 It was a great afternoon.
Tomorrow we celebrate his REAL birthday with two school parties. Jeff and I made the yoda pizza below for his pre-k birthday treat tomorrow morning. He is so,so excited to be 6 years old tomorrow! He said tonight he feels older and taller..:)
