Around Here

 Around here we are finally enjoying the slow days of summer. 

 lazy mornings in pjs and sometimes the kids play games

 Cut flowers from Greta in the kitchen 

 Afternoons on the slip n slide and air hockey games 

 This one ALWAYS has her nose in a book. 

And as of late, the lil man spends alot of his time making creations and drawing me lovely pictures. The table is almost always covered in art supplies. 

Around here the cat is still loving Kitty Casting time.

All Comers Meet- Track Town

Fieldin has been looking so forward to this. We took a trip to Eugene like last year for the all-comers meet last night. It was fun and we always love getting a chance to see our friends.

 Fieldin's 60 meter he is in the blue shirt on the left. He got 1st or 2nd we are not sure. He doesn't care either way he says "I just like to run fast".

Around Here

Around here we have been trying to rest up the last couple days. 

 Around here batman (with his Harry Potter wand by his plate) is being watched by his sidekick during lunch. 

 Around here it is movie time when it gets too hot out. 

 A day last week we got out the craft supplies and made little angry birds and minions and also freaky googly  eyes.

 My hibiscus are finally in bloom

 everyday the kids are dragging in more produce from our little garden barrels. 

and lots and lots of Yahtzee is being played around here. 

Around here the kids looove this(click below) song about Oregon and sing it often. It is from a commercial.

Thank you Jack. The kids are into this now. I had to post this because Fieldin likes to watch himself over, and over, and over again. 

We Wash Ashore Than We Return Home

We are home.. wait I need to try to say this with more enthusiasm...WE ARE HOoome... It's not working...

We just spent a couple days with our friends at the beach.. it was very fun and I thank them very very much for inviting us. 

 The kids liked jumping off this rock.. I don't miss this very high rock :)

 The kids loved this. We visited Washed Ashore.org and did some art. This place collects washed up garbage and turns it into wonderful art that teaches awareness of polluting our oceans. Seaworld commissioned art pieces and anyone can help put pieces together. The kids(and Jeff!) loved this. They(meaning Jeff) could have stayed all day. Fieldin wants to go back and spend his birthday there.

Around Here

 Around here they are still eating popsicles. It has been a somewhat lazy week. We are all having trouble adjusting to these free form days. Today Greta did a craft day thing while Fieldin and I ran errands. They have been playing lots of games inside(outside is too hot they say) and some basketball, movies, crafts and whatever they can find to do. The play structure has been quiet.. actually the whole neighborhood is quiet. They seem a bit lost.. wanting school time back. The next month or so is going to fly by, they just don't realize it. 

 Someones hair is getting so long. She does not want to cut it. 

 She got her pottery wheel out this week. If you do not have a pottery wheel, good. Never buy one. Enough said. She did seem to enjoy it but the clean up was quite something. It also sounded like a dying animal when it was running...as you can see on Fieldin's face.

Lots of angry bird star wars play going on around here. Our floor is covered with pieces.. one almost needs a lightsaber to clear a path.. 

What else around here.. hmm. 

Like I said quiet.. which we aren't used too but it is good for the soul I think. I find Greta reading in random places. Fieldin building or playing "school". I'm not doing much either even though my to do list looks like I should.
