Beach Bums

It feels like summer break even though Greta still isn't quite out of school.
We joined the many, who journeyed to see the Japanese dock that washed ashore.
Seriously... after I took this pic, a moment of reality hit. This little guy has grown so much in two years. When we moved here two years ago, he could barely walk, let alone walk in the sand. Now he jumps from boulders, runs through the ocean water and is sturdy and fearless. I feel so blessed that these will be the childhood memories they have of playtime at the ocean.
They wanted to play in the sand but I really wanted to hike a trail I've been eyeing and it was so nice.
 My loves along the trail
Fieldin wanted to take this Caterpillar home then wanted to help him swim in the ocean. Greta saved it and put him somewhere safe
Again, this kid has GROWN.. he used to be attached to us, now he is so independent we beg him to stay close. He runs so fast in the sand, he looks like the Flash.
