Now I Know My ABC's Munchkin Duet Video and Pics From Saturday

A letter arrived that almost brought a tear to my eye...Miss Greta's Supply list for Kindergarten. It just doesn't seem possible, does it?

Dress up and jumping on mommy and daddy's bed. The clone trooper(or the king as Greta calls him) and the princess. (look at her magazine pose) :)

The kiddos practicing their abc's. I have been trying to catch Fieldy singing them for awhile, but since he only sings them in the car and while hiking, it is a bit difficult.

Our Week In Pictures

Needless to say we are tired. Also add in a trip to the beach and aquarium, some shopping trips and little man speeding around on his motorcycle and this sums up much of the week. Summer is in full swing.....

Greta getting sprayed by moving dinosaurs at the zoo.
watching our butterflies emerge.

exploring a monastary

watching a gorgeous clock and getting some german sausage in Mt. Angel. The kids loved this!

Hiking to five falls.
Time for a nap. Have a great Friday everyone!

Get Your Motor Runnin'

Head out to the sidewalk....Looking for adventure, and what ever comes his way......

Fieldin's new ride. It is a Harley Davidson Rocker that goes 2.5 mph max. Look out world. A nice ride for a 1 1/2 year old. He is a horrible driver by the way...

Happy 10th Anniversary

Happy 10th anniversary Raylene!!! Here is a poem I wrote for you....
Decade#1, was tons of fun, we had a daughter and a son!
Decade#2, who knows what new adventures we will do, but one thing's for certain....I'll still love you!
Decade #3, the kids will be free! and it will return to just you and me. Oh, what fun it will be!
Decade#4, our love will continue to soar, more and more.
Decade #5 and beyond, our love will always go on and on and on.
Happy 10 years....
Jeff

What's A Happenin'?

A lot has been happening at Casa Babbitt as of late. In between trips to the strawberry patch, low tide exploration at the ocean, watching our pet caterpillers cocoon (awesome by the way!) , hotel Babbitt is filling up for the summer. We enjoyed a visit from Gigi, and seeing the kids aunt and cousin for a few days. We have spent the rest of the week gearing up for another visitor coming soon. The days are flying by and with the weather a little soggy this year in our neck of the woods, it is easy to forget that it is summer! lots of fun plans ahead of us in the coming months and we are excited for all of our friends and family visiting us this summer. It is a bit hard to keep up with the blog as of late but doing my best!

I hope you are all enjoying summer!

A Big Shortcake and Some New Pets

We have added 10 caterpillars to our broad. They are in the process of turning into chrysalides and very fun to watch.
Yesterday we watched a strawberry festival parade and had the pleasure of seeing the largest strawberry shortcake in the world! Now we've seen everything. :)

Jeff did some work, we watched a little baseball, I got a surprise anniversary message on the big screen, we visited some friends and got our dose of road rage. It was a good trip.

I'll catch up more soon!

Memories

You will be 20 months tomorrow little man. Here are some things I want to remember about you...
You climbed out of your seat at the table today on your own and said "I never done that before" and laughed.
You are starting to pick out your own clothes and pick up your dirty clothes off the floor and say"dirty" and put them in the hamper.
You love dancing, especially to the wiggles. You play chase every day and you get the cutest smile as you run after whomever will run with you. When you are running fast your arms swing side to side in front of you.
You do a little dance, wave your arms back and forth and have the silliest laugh when you are getting your snack or dinner.
You sing the abc song while you play in the smallest & sweetest voice.
When we are ready to run an errand or go play you yell "outside, shoes!" and run as fast as you can to find your shoes and mine.
You love to build legos and "tell" us stories.
You can say just about anything. You shock us sometimes, even Greta. She loves it when you say new words.
I love watching you and Greta interact. You guys are so cute together. You have your moments but you make a good team :)
