Fall Cake

 A Fall family tradition. I used to make it and the kids would get so excited. The last two years they have made it and decorated the cake together. 

 I asked them to cool it on the candy this year. This is cooling it... 

Oh Man, I Haven't Written In Awhile....

Around here...

It has been busy and the weeks are flying by at light speed. So fast, that I'm not sure I remember all of it. We are in a warp speed fog. :)

 When they have a little bit of free time these days they are busy with their friends. It's a good thing but I do miss them.. 

 Jeff had a free starbucks drink so while Greta was off having fun with her youth group, we treated Fieldin to the new zombie drink... he said it was gross.

 I have been busy mentoring a boys robotics team a couple evenings a week. Fieldin is on the team and I am having so much fun watch him get excited when the robot works...

Cello, How Are You?

Practicing after his 4th cello lesson. He told me he really WANTED to play the cello. I will be honest, I was not thrilled, but he loves it. I just feel lucky I have a SUV at the moment to haul baseball gear AND his cello. 

Birthday Boy

HE IS 9!!!! 

I just can't believe it. Life has been so busy we had a quiet celebration at home and brought treats to his class and robotics team. 

What do I say about this kid? He is ambitious, he always gives 110%, he is SO smart, he is witty, he is athletic and musical and he has the most amazing imagination. He is kind to everyone and brightens my world. 

At nine, he is currently playing cello, playing baseball, ready to compete on battle of the books, is on a robotics team. In his free time, he creates art and legos, loves to write stories. Enjoys running, football and lacrosse. He loves movies and time with friends. 

We love you Fieldin. To the moon and back infinity times ;)

Baseball

Fall baseball is in full swing. Two double headers every Sunday, which is about 5 hours. He is doing really well and is a pro at stealing bases. His favorite position is center field.
