Why I Need A Nap

There is something I don’t talk much about which is life with two talented and gifted kids. I write about their successes and hobbies in this blog. I am blessed to have these kids and I am so proud of them but having TAG kids can also have their challenges. Boredom, restlessness, learning to fail and realizing its normal, etc. It can be tiring for me, trying to stay one step ahead of them(thank you google) and keeping them challenged. I was sitting on the sofa with Fieldin yesterday and it was a perfect example of my life with my kiddos.
Fieldin: Remember when I was younger and you always said you loved me to Mars and back? Well, that’s only 14 years. (insert sad eyes)
Me: Buddy, you are forgetting the “infinity times” part I always added.
Fieldin: Ohhhh. Yeah, I remember. That solves that problem...
Random glimpses into their minds and what they are thinking. Most of the time I have to put it together like a puzzle. I love them, they bring me so much joy but I am realizing they are why I need so many naps:)
