Mother’s Day (Covid Style)

I was blessed with a beautiful Mother’s Day today. Above, was my Mother’s Day gift to myself:) if you knew me when I was age 19+ I always wore hiking boots just like these but about 5 years ago I had to say goodbye to them:( I gifted myself a new pair and have grand plans for them! Breaking them in today!

My best friend drove an hour to secretly surprise me for a social distance margarita chat and it made my week. She also took my moms unfinished king quilt recently and finished it. It is beautiful. She put so much work into it and created a beautiful heirloom for us, even adding a tag that shows my mom made it. I love this because my mom made the front and my best friend made the back which makes it even more special. The design is the friendship quilt.. so many things to love about this!

My lil’ man woke up so early to make me a Minecraft Scottish castle for Mother’s Day that he fell asleep at breakfast time. ❤️

So many flowers emerging on every nook and cranny of the yard

Hiking with the youngest

My first harvest today. Perfect sized French radishes and they are SO good.. better than candy. I tried out some of my lettuce too and nothing beats fresh lettuce.
