I Did It! Day 30

I did it. Thirty days of pictures and I have to admit it got me back in the habit of taking pictures again. It was also fun seeing a small glimpse of our lives. It is impossible to document everything and there are a lot of situations where it isn’t possible but it has been fun. So here we go...day 30.

At the middle school. I don’t like middle school. I was dropping off a drum that we were donating. Then I waited for Greta and was happy to leave. Did I mention I don’t like middle school?

Piano lesson

Video game time since it’s a non lacrosse night

Celebrating this friend’s birthday at Benny’s donuts.

Helping record this girl’s scales so she can send it to the high school band teacher. I have to go back and record more this week... at the middle school. We all know how I feel about that:)

A Glimpse: Day 29

Adding some books to the book boxes.. this is the adult/ teen side. Very tidy:) Below is the little kids side:) looks like a hurricane hit it.

Lunchtime walk. Only did a couple miles today. I was picking up the garage and weeding and I felt a bit sluggish.

Fieldin playing a game before school and after I drilled him on test questions for a test coming up.

A Glimpse: Day 28

Happy Easter! This little man has protective gear on and a bag around his torso ready for the egg hunt.

Our 9th annual egg hunt. This year most of the eggs were full off money and some how each kid ended up with about 50/50.. I can’t believe it came out even but thankful for less whining:)

This cat got to go outside for a bit until the egg hunt started and she ran back inside.

Easter pancakes

Counting her winnings. Fieldin’s favorite Easter gift was poo putty🙄

Double checking all the eggs for coins..

She took over a chair for breakfast

Decorating eggs.

This is what he looks like on the way to the track. He is such a dress up kid..he practiced lacrosse while we walked and ran bleacher stairs.

Video...Welcome to the 9th annual hunger games....

A Glimpse: Day 27

Watching lil’ man’s lacrosse game. He only had one game instead of two. He’s getting pretty good! He scored a goal and is very good at defense.

After lacrosse the neighbors next door asked if we wanted a couple pizzas. They had extra. Post game  Fieldin was thrilled not to wait for dinner and the cat had never smelled this before so had to check it out. She’s used to our homemade pizza smells..

It was a beautiful day for lacrosse

Fieldin had a hour warm up before his game so Greta wanted to checkout her favorite spot, the record store.

Jeff, me and the kids went on a 6 mile walk this morning. He carried his lacrosse stick with him :) we used to do this walk once a week a couple years back before life got busier. It was nice to do it again. The best part was that my knees have felt better and I was able to run today! Hoping I can work up to longer distances like the good ol’ days.

We made a stop at the coffee shop along the way and got the kids a treat.
