Last year he was a 3rd grade champ and now as a member of the "Pounding Pages" team they are the 4th grade champs with a invitation to the District Championship. Memorizing 16 books front to back is not easy but they did it. They even knew their stuff so well that they challenged and official Oregon BOTB question they got wrong and it turns out that they were right and the points were overturned. It was impressive.
