Lego Hooky Day

This happens too often, I charge up a camera for an adventure and find forgotten photos on it. Even though this probably means I am getting a bit forgetful in my middle age, I am going with the theory that I have too many cameras laying about.. ahem. yep, too many cameras.
These are from April? No, wait... March? it was Spring. See I remember! What I do remember, is we broke the kids out of jail (school) to go. As long as Fieldin did not miss P.E. and Greta did not miss Science or math.. P.E. was O.K. with her. You know your kids like school when they DON'T want to miss classes. Crazy kids. Anyway, back on subject, we took the rascals up to OMSI to enjoy a Lego exhibit. We were lucky to see this exhibit in Philadelphia a couple years back but Jeff wasn't with us and he was excited to see it this time around in Portland.
Miss Greta was excited to see that she is now taller than one of her heroes Marie Curie who was 5 feet tall, which was quite tall when you think about her carrying radium around in her pocket.. Radiumless Greta is now clocking in at 5'4" at age 11.
As we all get older our shoes say alot about us all.
in the exhibit the lighting was bad but the lego art was beautiful

Sooo many legos and such talent.

Click here to see when we saw this exhibit last time. Fieldin is "a bit" taller :)
