Around Here

It is Spring and our week off went by very fast but we all got a chance to rest up which was great.
While I was off, we got the den painted a palm frond green. It has only taken 7 years to find the right color and start painting this house. We still have all original paint from when it was built and we moved in. The paint is starting to show its age after going through years of little Greta and Fieldin and two cats.

Greta was busy working on her brain.. she colored playdough and made and labeled a brain for science class. We had alot of fun with this because it seems she can do advanced math but never figured out how to use playdough. I had to tell her to stop getting frustrated with her brain, not something one says every day..
we have passed one hundred days in my preschool class, we had alot of fun and I was very happy to see them back on the 101st day. I kept reminding them that school is NOT over after 100 days. Sorry kids..and yes I made them crawl through the bottom zero to enter the 100th day of school. Some adults did too. kudos:)

we had a pretty rainy winter and we are finally sometimes able to make it out hiking again. It is so nice to get on the trails again!

7 month old Jovie is doing well and like another cat we miss and loved, she is high maintenance. She likes to be our helper, as you can see here.
over spring break we purged and clean this little man's room. A full day project going through books, toys and legos. We were able to get rid of some shelving and move in an art desk in that he wanted so he was thrilled.
Fieldin in his own little world on the hiking trail. His imagination flies and he doesn't realize we are way behind...
Lots of Lego building gone in this guys room. Creating many cool things. Here he is making a huge awesome clone base as he calls it. He closes his door so Jovie doesn't break his base...
