Robotics Tournament

Greta had her first Robotics Tournament with her middle school team at OSU. It was on a Saturday from 8:30-5:30. Her team was all 6th graders and on the younger side. They did great. They did not make it to the State Championship like they hoped but they learned alot after a day of presentations, question and answer sessions, problem solving sessions and having their robot compete and be judged. They will be ready for next year.
Greta and one of her best friends during practice time.
Practice time to figure out any finishing touches.
What does a little brother do when he is stuck in a boring engineering building for part of a day.. kindle and a seat at the piano...
Greta got her laptop set up and the team practiced one of their presentations.
Their robot running the course and doing challenges
closing ceremony. Greta going up on stage
and all the Oregon teams that competed at OSU that day.
Their team robot. Coded, charged and ready to go...
Gret's team, the Syntax Errors.. I really hope they get a chance to compete again next year.
