Overdue Beach Day

It's been a couple months since our last beach visit and we were all in withdrawals..
Before fun beach time we made them hike with us at Beaver Creek. Greta told us all about trees and leaves. "Did you know that if these trees were to get hit by lightning they would survive as long as their xylem and phloem tubes aren't hit"... no I did not know this.. Then she told Fieldin all about why leaves are green and pointed out deciduous trees.. I realized it is fun hiking with a walking encyclopedia. She is the smart one, I am the street smart one. She was giving us a guided tour while I looked for bears and cougars...
Beach time limbo with driftwood and kelp. I love this picture because it shows them both with their heads held back letting out those outrageous laughs they have.
Practicing with the skim board. This board was given to Greta by a very nice friend. They were very excited to try it out. Thank you Hillary & Jack!
 I love this picture.
Both did great after the initial fear subsided. I love finding Fieldin in the background of the pictures.. it's like  a version of Where's Waldo.
Fieldin loved this too and was so excited when he got off and was ready to go again. He didn't have much fear actually.

A treasure found in the shallow waves.
They did this for at least a half hour straight. Hopefully Jeff can move tomorrow.
Very Happy little man.
