Nerd Girl Fun Post Dance

Gret had fun at the dance but had more fun at the OSU astronomy open house, we made it right before it closed. We learned a bit and did some tasks and she was happy not to miss it. 

We received a free NASA poster for completing a worksheet. This is going up in my classroom

8th Grade Dance

Gret went to her first dance tonight and I will keep this short because I am not ready for her to grow up. While she was getting ready, she decided to dress up the cat.

Wednesday

Another day of picking.. I picked 11 lbs until my allergies kicked in.. such good berries this year! 

I’m still working on my to do list. The last 9 years we liked the wild moss ( and occasional cactus) that has grown happily on our backyard pavers because, well, it’s Oregon. I started taking the moss  away after we needed a change and almost done( below)

My favorite pizza. Jeff made it tonight and it is amazing. I used to eat a slice at the Moscow, Idaho food co-op. We made our own version. Thin sliced Potatoes , pesto, Kerry gold cheddar and walnuts. It is an amazing vegetarian pizza!  Now I even need to make more pesto! 

After.. almost done! 

To Do List

Marking many things off my to do list and even things not listed. One of those things was waking up the last of the ancient outdoor furniture with some crimson and gray for Fieldin. Go Cougs!

Free fishing day in Oregon.. at the pond near our house 

Loading up on strawberries for the freezer

He didn’t catch anything but he saw dragon flies and bull frogs

This little guy cut 18 lbs of strawberries for the freezer today. 

Where’s Greta? While we were at church she was at a retirement home playing piano for the residents. Then she spent the day babysitting. We are nice and sharing the strawberries with her even though she didn’t pick them:) 

Saturday

Greta got her workout yesterday. Her last middle school parade. This was the strawberry parade and yes, strawberries are out and sweet here in Oregon. 

While the kids worked hard, she slept..

This lil’ man played hard and made an awesome goal. It’s so fun to watch.
