Carving Large Fruit

We spent the morning listening to Halloweenish music and carving pumpkins. It is very fun now that the kids can cut and clean their pumpkins all on their own. Above is Jeff’s alien/ spaceship pumpkin

My angler fish. I am quite proud of this!

We found this beauty tonight. I’ve moved in all the tropical plants in for winter and it is so fun to find new flowers this time of year.

Busy Kids

Today felt very PC ( pre-covid) hanging around the house doing creative projects. The lil’ man was busy most of the day baking and decorating cookies.
One of our Fall roses.
We created an Etsy shop today for the family. The kids learned how to measure and weigh items for shipping, pricing, taking photos of items and some marketing. Greta really got into it and enjoyed it.

We still have produce coming out of the garden on October 24th. It’s supposed to get VERY cold tonight so we will see if that ends.
And one last Fall rose pictures. They smell so amazing.

Around Here

We are already craving some Christmas, making Chex mix already!
Cat grass growing time.. as the weather gets colder she’s not going to be outside as much so her grass gets moved indoors.
Always some kind of LEGO project going
I sometimes wish it was Fall year around here. It’s so beautiful.

Jeff’s lumbar support. She cozies in like this while he’s working..
We are perfecting egg rolls each time we make them.
My black calla lilies for Halloween. Love them! Tutoring a student(below) it’s nice to be in my element for a bit in this crazy time.

Around Here

I love Oregon in the Fall. It is just so beautiful. It is getting colder in the mornings so Tater Tot spends a lot of her day on blankets.

The lit up porch at night
Tis’ the season for puzzles and LEGO building
Our Fall Four tier cake. Pumpkin and chocolate with butter cream and chocolate frosting
This cat, she brings us so much joy
Decorations are scattered as well as Halloween themed lego scenes
Took a walk with Jeff and dad on one of the wildlife trails Friday.
My hibiscus doesn’t mind being moved in for the cold season.
Pumpkin waffles
Family game nights are starting back up. This one you have to tell who’s losing and who’s telling the truth. It’s hilarious

Lessons are back in swing in the garage

Finally Fall

It was a beautiful Fall day today. We made a stop by one of our favorite farms. I think we need to return to the “ if you can’t carry it, you can’t have it” rule. lol Greta had a struggle.
We saw a cookie delivery robot today and it made our day. It travels alone around a whole town via gps on its own. It stops and looks both ways before crossing the street and waits for traffic. It was so fun to watch. The kids now want a cookie delivery robot for Christmas:)

In the past we always tend to buy smaller pumpkins for carving, not this year! It was apparently go big or go home.
He was able to carry his pumpkin!

113 lbs of pumpkin 🎃 this year

Fall roses from the garden, my favorite. A bbq picnic with dad today at Ft. Hoskin’s. Such a beautiful day to be outside.
