Around Here

I needed to take out some old roses today and then I remembered I had a young boy near by. He got a lesson on using a shovel and digging up bushes.

His long board came today, he used some bday money for it. I am going to make him wear wrist and elbow pads, oh and plus a helmet!

The beans are getting ready!

She got out again...

The neighbor was getting rid of these bricks so I took them off her hands to use in the zen garden. Fieldin and I are going to work on it together.

Around Here

I found this for $4 and it was bright gold. I had a little fun with the spray paint and made it fit our color scheme.

Crazy rose of Sharon, roses, butterfly bush corner..

Around Here

Around here, time is flying. I found some time out in the she cave the other night and used Tater Tot as my muse.. it reminds me of a presidential pin:)

Projects around the house are still chugging along.

We painted this boys room, AGAIN, and not again for a long time:) He picked out this color himself.

Lessons are back in session, now in the garage

The “farm” is between crops right now:) I’m waiting patiently, which is not an easy thing for me to do.

Out on the porch and you hear beautiful piano music from inside....

The third child... Entertain me, let me outside, feed me.. she can be so much work..

These two love thrifting for records. They worked together and decided which of them should get what.

Tater peeved that she is not on the porch too.

Reading and relaxing

We were given some marionberries so Fieldin and Jeff made a crisp. The buckets of blueberries went into the freezer.

The porch concert series with Greta. Today was electric ukulele with her amp. Thursday was marimba.

Treats For Shelter Animals

The kids were given supplies through the library summer reading program to make snuffle mats for dogs and corn husk toys for cats. We were tired today so it was a good project.

Just Like Our Country..

We are young, scrappy and hungry. Evening of cuddling with the cat and watching Hamilton.

Before leaving the beach I was given a lesson in egg roll making.

Tired Greta

Fieldin and his buddy. Mark the cat would wait for Fieldin in the morning to take him on a short walk and then Mark would need a nap.

He was sleepy we could stack rocks on him
