We Don’t Have A Hamster

The lil’ man loves cardboard. He makes so many different things out of it. Most of the time it’s board games he has invented. He worked hours on what I thought he said was a hamster maze. He painted, glued, worked on intricate obstacles and I kept reminding him we don’t have a hamster. Turns out he was making it for an army man diorama he could photograph... I don’t know, I still think it’s his way of telling us he wants a hamster. 

Lil’ Man

Greta got on the other side of the camera and took all these photos of Fieldin. Since it was all rainy at his 5th grade graduation we didn’t get many pics so she took “5th grade” pics for me ❤️ I wish he’d show his wide open smile but he tells me this IS his smile. 🙄

Photography Walks

Lil’ man  is still going on photography walks(the rare moments it’s not raining lately) And practicing his skills and figuring out lighting. He does such a good job for a kiddo that is starting out. He looks pretty cute with my old camera hanging around his neck. 

I’d say he is doing quite well! Keep it up buddy!

I took this picture. It is Jeff carrying the cat on it’s 3rd(?) backyard walk of the day. She is spoiled, I tell ya! The rest of the photos were taking by Fieldin the budding photographer. He was out back waiting on cool shots of hummingbirds and took photos of the cat.. angry that she can’t go outside:)

The Backyard Farm

After days of rain it was nice to get out into the garden again. We have some beans growing! 

We also have some peas growing 

We have a forest of roses growing behind a tree

A daily crop of lettuce 

The tomatillos are twice as tall
