Around Here: Halloween Time

Our friend came by to help with the cutting, and I did the scooping. I’m excited to bake the seeds tomorrow. 

Fieldin decorated both sides of his and he drew, cleaned and cut his all by himself this year! 

A Video: Reminds Us Of 4 Years Ago

Four years ago, Greta started drumming and now she is a collegiate level drummer that blows my mind. Mr. Fieldin just start a few weeks ago and reminds me of what she sounded like four years ago. So basic but so much to learn and perfect. Mr. Fieldin is doing awesome, especially just after weeks of playing. 

Lazy Weekend

Since Jeff had to rest, it was a good weekend to build legos as a family. Greta and I built the Friends tv show set above.

Homework, pjs, coffee, music and projects.. those are the best weekends. A day of errands and chores happened Saturday with help from the kids. A lazy day was needed. 

The boys built this awesome pirate themed roller coaster. Here is A video of Fieldin talking about it. 

Marching Band Season

It is officially marching band season so Gret brought her marching uniform home and they measured well, because it fits perfect. She hates it, I think she pulls it off just fine:)

An Attempt At Fall Photos

 I'm so glad I can photograph my kids because they would give a true professional a run for their money...especially the youngest. I did my best and I am still working on them but here we are, a 9th grader and a 5th grader. 

this 'W' could be for WSU or West Albany.. either way it was fun

kitty had to get in on this too.. hard to think she was a small dying kitty that couldn't see well when we got her. She is such a healthy beauty now.

The president’s marine band are touring this year, so it was a rare treat. We spent a Sunday afternoon enjoying some AMAZING music with a perfect view of all the percussionists.
