Lil’ man had his school meet and greet. The new school is amazing!!He likes his teacher and was VERY excited he gets this WHOLE cubby to himself:)

Around here Miss Greta is attempting a vegan life style for environmental reasons. We’ve been trying out some new recipes. We eat a lot of plant based meals and little meat as it is but the hardest part is not eating cheese. Seems like every recipe has dairy of some sort. It will be fun to try new things and it will get us out of the late summer food funk we get into:)

Around here there are nighttime laser tag battles around the house. May the odds be ever in your favor! 

I purge and purge more. Right when I think there can’t be anything else to get rid of, Jeff and I REALLY cleaned out our closet. The cat was very upset with me because this meant a lot of vacuuming. She has forgiven me since now the boys are playing laser tag and the vacuum is the least of her worries:)

This girl is registered and ready to start her freshman year of high school! I was bit sad but I made it through!

Robotics Season Has Begun

Here we go  again.. another year, another challenge and  another LEGO field to build. Greta is helping mentor this year. 

Day one.. challenge table done. It was a great start! 

She Owns...

She owns.. our bed. She owns the bench by the front door. 

She owns our table if we are playing a game or her wheat grass is waiting. I think this is a “ I need fresh wheatgrass” stare. 

She own our bedroom table. She owns all the windows and the den. She owns the craft room and the hallways. She also owns our hearts. We love you Tater Tot.. a.k.a. Agi-tater and sweet tater. Sorry, we can’t play with you and your toys 24 hours a day though you would love that:) 

Rocking Out With The Fam

We all know Greta loves music and she loves concerts as much as I did at her age. She has a lot more options living where we do than I did for sure. I love that the kids are old enough that we can all go together now. If they hear a cuss word it doesn’t phase them( they hear worse on the school bus and at school now a days🙄 sadly.) 

Last night we headed to Portland to see Dreamers, Dirty Heads and 311 for the price of a ticket at the movie theatre! 5 hours of entertainment for $15 each. Can’t beat that. Greta loves all aspects of it since she plays piano, guitar and drums, she loves to see their technique. 

These two. Of course Fieldin almost fell asleep as he always does in public places these days.

My classroom work is still continuing:)

After survival camp overnighted

We picked him up and found him cleaning tables with shaving cream. This works well especially to get cocoa spills off:)
