Most Drawn Out Birthday Ever..

We celebrated her day while we were gone but she had not had a chance to open her presents. A fun night of Indian food with her best  friend a day after we got back. Now we await her real party soon..
An awesome science book. Her best friend knows her well :)
A few gifts from us but she finally got her retractable shelling basket that she can take on vacations. This girl asks for the most unusual gifts.. ;)

Greta got a birthday chocolaty treat and Fieldin tried his first twinkie, which he hated.. Greta is still yet to try one.

"When I grow up, I'm playing here"
Miss Greta kept score during the game...
Running the bases, The kids were able to get arm bands to do this thanks to an aggressive sister who was NOT going to let her little brother miss running the bases. Long story short, Fieldin almost passed out while we entered Wrigley Field..yes, right at the door. I took Fieldin and sat him down and got some life back into him. Greta and Jeff ran for a wrist band. Greta pushed her way in and got THE LAST ONE and gave it to Fieldin.... It was the sweetest thing ever. Well, Karma is a funny thing. Later on, Greta was given a band so she could run with Fieldin. What a special story.
And there they are. I thought Jeff was going to cry. Mostly because he wished he could do it:) no adults allowed ....
 There goes Fieldin
Greta holding Fieldin's hand. We had to say goodbye and they were off down the tunnels to the field on their own.
