Last Day Of School

 "Last day in first grade"

This one's last day of elementary school!!!
You know the drill by now... here are their first day pictures. I wonder if Greta purposely wore the same shirt for her first and last day....hmmm...

5th grade Promotion

Greta is now officially a middle schooler! Yikes! *sigh* too many emotions going through us all lately.
We are SO VERY proud of this young lady. So very proud..

In line to get her promotion certificate, I love that smile!
Getting her certificate! along with 75 classmates.
Then getting a Presidential academic award of excellence
Then her peers voted her most likely to be president..
and they voted her most likely to save the planet...
Greta with her AMAZING teacher. I don't have the words to describe how great she is.
Then pics with her best buddies

You know that quote "Dance like noone is watching" well, this girl does.. she was busting a move in front of everyone and did not care a bit.
 With her best friend (below)

And with her 4th grade teacher who was also just amazing and such a great fit for Greta,

 Then more celebrating...
Someone told me that Greta was a ham..I agree, she likes to ham it up and this ham is also a bit cheesy too :) She sure is full of life.

And a dessert celebration after.

Wow, as everyone has been saying "We can't wait to see what this girl does one day, what ever it is it will be big".  No big deal, Greta, you are just supposed to save the world, you got this...:) I don't have any advice for you Greta except just keep doing what your doing because you have got it all figured out.

Drummin' Up Awards

Tuesday, Greta had a school awards assembly.
The members of 5th grade band from her school played some songs before the award ceremony.
She is playing the drums on the end.

Below, she is playing a song solo and did great.

She was also given the citizenship award for the third year in a row.

Caravan Awards

Tuesday night the kids had an award ceremony with their youth group. They were given the badges that they earned over the last year. I hot glued Greta's badges on to her sash below.
Greta playing a throw a marshmallow into a cup game.
Fieldin's neckerchief(?) is that what you call it?
Just so you know, it takes Fieldin 50 seconds to unwrap a hershey's kiss with an oven gloved hand.
It wasn't easy and as someone told him, way too much work for one kiss. :)
 With his badges

Greta getting her badges for the year
Sorry, having trouble lately getting my pictures in order.. more opening of the hershey kiss.
His favorite part, the reception with lots of goodies.
 Answering questions before the awards...
