A Glimpse: Day 26

It’s nice when we have no plans at night and I can make things like lasagna instead of quick meals

A Glimpse: Day 25

Happy 14th birthday to this girl! And kitty A.K.A the birthday troll( silly story) 

I documented Fieldin’s annoying bird. It is pretty cute and quite happy there. Fieldin is NOT happy.

Me and blue (below) the weather was fantastic today. After my ride I took a lunch time walk with Jeff and an afternoon walk with a neighborhood pal. It was so nice.

A Glimpse: Day 24

Today was an unexpected lazy day which are nice sometimes. Kitty hanging in the window while Greta plays the piano right beside her. 

Little Ferris strikes again and said he was “sick” I can honestly never tell with him but by 11 a.m. he was working on his book report and wanting to watch scooby doo. He was carted off to school after this..and yes, I made him go to lacrosse tonight too..

We have huge snails everywhere on our front porch. They don’t seem to bother my plants so I let them live there. 

Walk at lunch with Jeff enjoying the spring flowers. 

This is a new sight in our house. Greta is primping before an evening meeting. 

“Bored” he says. He has practice in 20 minutes but is soooo bored. I told him at least he isn’t “sick”

Every morning. Hours are spent watching the annoying birds that wake up Fieldin every morning. 

The first mowing of the season, it was getting pretty high. We needed it short for the kids Easter egg hunt soon. 

A Glimpse: Day 23

Surprising the eldest each day with something to remind her that she will be 14 soon! 

It is birthday season around here so constantly buying cards this month. I needed to drop off Easter egg hunt donations at our church and bought the final bday cards until May:) 

Today was full of domestic duties, dishes, laundry, sweeping etc. then I needed to meal prep for lunches since sandwiches won’t do... pizza pasta and Greek tortellini salad that has already somewhat disappeared and probably won’t make it to the lunchboxes. 

This girl is growing up so fast...after chores, I enjoyed a long walk with a friend and then picked Greta up at piano. Now more chores and maybe a family game or movie thrown in. 

A Glimpse: Day 22

It was a day off for Fieldin so we bought some gift cards, went on a 4 mile walk and Fieldin chose people for a random act of kindness. One of these people was his past physical therapist, we ended with a visit to his old preschool teacher.

She got the highest score she could get on her solos on Saturday.

Walking with my boy, he held my hand the whole walk. Sad to think the day is coming where he won’t want to hold my hand.

A Glimpse: Day 21

Post church nachos.. 

Helping Greta purge and organize for the third time in the last few months. Transitioning from a small girls room to a teenage room.
