After a few years of her starter kit, Greta found a great deal on an upgraded kit. It sounds so nice and SO much louder!

April Fool’s Day Trick By The Youngest
The lil' guy loves April's Fool's day. This year, among some other tricks, he glued a penny to the sidewalk at the park across the street. This has given hours of enjoyment to the lil' guy who can watch his prank unfold from the front porch. Many adults, children, grandparents, very frustrated dads have all attempted to pick up this penny. They have even resorted to kicking it, screams etc..
It's the prank that keeps on giving. Good one, Fieldin.

Spring Break
We took a quick trip up to Seattle. The main reason was so Greta could go record shopping. We had a fun time away. Here are the kids with the Fremont troll.
Sculpture that Greta loved at MoPOP
Gaswork park in the evening. It was fun to show an older Greta the places I worked and my old stomping grounds.
The city at night
Under construction. I have never seen a missing piece of the needle before!
Beam me up, Scotty!
late night used record shopping(above) and Greta pining over the Nirvana drum set
This girl loves the Beatles. Can you find her and her milkshake??
I found this guy some VERY good mexican food. When it is too big to pick up you, eat it like this...
Middle School Talent Show
Greta and her best friend tried out for the talent show this year and was one of the 15 acts to make it. They played "Paint it Black" by the rolling stones. Greta taught herself piano and may I say she is quite talented. Her normal drum playing wouldn't sound right with her friends bass so she learned the song on piano. They sounded so great! Sadly , the video is too long for me to post.
Here are the girls with the ballot box they made. They did not win but they were amazing! Great job!!

The Big Kids At OMSI
These girls are still working hard in the post season. They offered to go and be mentors for Lego League Jr. at OMSI this Saturday. They were able to show the younger kids their robot and what the next level presentations will look like. I think many of the kids were a little intimidated by them.
They sang one of their favorite songs from state competition and did a short speech.
It was also opening day of a really cool robot exhibit at OMSI so after the girls were done they visited the exhibit.
What an amazing group of girls. Looking forward to what they accomplish next year.
Another School Carnival Down
Me and this wonderful lady come up with some fun preschool carnival games each year. It is alot of work but it always pays off!
