Welcome Tater Tot

Tater Tot joined our family a week ago. She is very nice and happy to be here. She adjusted well here after being in a shelter for awhile. We love her very much already. Fieldin’s teacher gave him an aard for being nice to tater tot. Then he had the whole class cheer Tater Tot at the school assembly. Tater Tot is already famous:)

Battle Of The Books & Some Jazz

After a very exciting Book Battle for Fieldin we got to listen to Greta in her Varsity & Jazz bands. She did awesome.. that girl loves her music. She averages about 3 hours a day on her music. She still wants to be a microbiologist but is thinking about taking a minor in music in college as well. Drums and piano seem to be her happy place these days. She enjoys teaching young kids music and the constant learning and trying new things keeps her challenged.

Now on to this boy, his 3rd grade championship team got 2nd place! They were the first 3rd grade team to do this. Usually, 3rd grade comes in 3rd place. His team lost to 5th graders by only 2 points.. it was sooo close and they should be so proud. It was very fun to watch! Greta left school to watch her brother and cheer him on. She was one proud sister!

Fieldin and his team each won $10 in scholastic cash

Jovie Cat

Jovie cat is a handful. She can be pretty tiring. The only time she slows down is when she hears music from these two and she will finally take it easy for a bit. Luckily, the kids have been playing daily so she has some time to rest or more importantly, leave me alone.

What It Takes Him To Nap

This little guy never naps but after having a sleepover here where he didn’t sleep added to a 5 mile morning walk, we found him like this.  He started on the sofa and moved to the floor...
